Taste of London
Our very own Joe Fattorini and Amelia Singer are participating in this year’s Taste of London, an exciting food and wine festival where you can enjoy incredible dishes from the city’s greatest chefs.
Joe & Amelia will be leading tasting sessions throughout the event in the Wine & Spirits Theatre. Special guests include world renowned chefs Atul Kochhar, José Pizarro and Dan Doherty, who will also be talking about which wines inspire them and their favourite food / wine combinations to try at home.
Below is our schedule, and the wines you’ll be able to try at this year’s Taste of London…
Wednesday 15th June – Sunday 19th June
Regent’s Park
Taste the Wine Show with The Wine Show Team
An unmissable opportunity to taste the wines featured in ITV’s The Wine Show, with the team. The team have picked out some of their favourite wines from the series. As well as talking through the wines, they’ll also introduce you to the wine makers and stories from behind the scenes from the show. You can ask questions too and chat with the team to ‘find out more about this marvellous drink’.
Food and Wine Matching with the Chefs of The Wine Show
Some of the world’s most exciting chefs have featured in The Wine Show on ITV. But which wines inspire them, and when they’re choosing the wine first, what do they enjoy it with. Meet some of the Chefs featured on The Wine Show as they talk through the wines they chose. Was it a good choice? What makes it go so well with the Chef’s food, and how can understanding a little more about these food and wine combinations help you at home?
The Wine Show Wine Trivia Tasting
What do you call that funny glass bit on a bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape? What does “Merlot” actually mean? Do you have helixophilia? Behind every wine is a fascinating story. You just need to know where to look. The Wine Show’s Joe Fattorini leads a tasting where the trivia is as important as the tannins.
The Wine Show: How To Wine Friends and Influence People
No, it’s not a typo, just an appalling pun. Is there a way you can quickly feel more confident with wine and talk about it in a way that impresses your friends and family? Of course there is. It’s a glass of wine, not the Schleswig-Holstein Question. Taste three wines with The Wine Show’s Joe Fattorini and discover the four letters that make describing wine a cinch, the forgotten quality that makes good wines great and how you need to think about wine differently… if you’re in China.
